I need to get more efficient with my note-taking and news-hunting! Big story this issue is something seemingly innocuous but it speaks to an ongoing discussion in the retro gaming community. If FPGA boards start running emulation on the microcontroller rather than hardware recreation in...

In this issue: Amiga, MiSTer, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, C64, Dreamcast, Android, Apple II, Atari 2600, Atari 8-bit Read it now The MiSTer community is not showing any signs of slowing down, and that is despite repeated warnings that developers are at the limits of what the FPGA hardware is capable of. Hand picked retro gaming and retro computing stories from the week

In this issue: Amiga, C64, PC, Atari 8-bit, Atari 2600, Macintosh, Mega Drive, Amstrad PC1512, Arcade, Atari Lynx One of the challenges in this hobby is keeping up with the news. Secondary, but also big is what one person thinks of as 'news' is another person's junk or noise. How to keep up with the good stuff without drowning in the rest of it?
